How Our Gold Jewellery is Crafted

18k Gold Coating by Physical Vapour Deposition

Our 18k gold coated pieces are artfully made from nickel-free and lead-free stainless steel. Then, an eco-friendly Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) coating process is used to adhere the gold layer. This is not a standard plating - instead, the gold is vapourised and bonded to the base metal atom-by-atom. This creates an ultra-thin custom coating fused to the surface for optimal durability and performance.

The PVD process allows for a smooth, flawless gold finish that is incredibly scratch-resistant, tarnish-proof, and built to last. Unlike regular plating which can wear away over time, our PVD gold coating is waterproof and stands up to regular wear, sweat, and daily life. Even if scratched, the coating remains intact and continues looking new.

The PVD coating technology gives our gold jewellery enhanced durability and a beautiful hypoallergenic finish suitable for sensitive skin. It's an innovative method that takes our core metals and gives them a custom makeover!

Caring for Your Jewelry

Follow our simple care tips to keep your gold jewellery looking its best:

❀ Avoid direct contact with harsh chemicals like perfumes, lotions, hairspray and antibacterial soaps which can degrade the PVD coating over time.

❀ After pool, ocean or chlorine exposure, simply rinse with fresh water to prevent corrosion from residue buildup and gently pat dry to keep the gold glowing.

❀ To clean, gently wipe your pieces with a soft cloth. Use gentle soap and warm water if needed. Do not use abrasive cleaners or cleaning tools.

Remove your jewellery before going to bed and store your pieces separately in the boxes or drawstring bags provided to prevent breakage, scuffs and tangling.

With proper care, your PVD coated gold jewellery will maintain its brilliant glow for many years to come!
