• Your medallion will be custom laser engraved with your chosen Baybayin word(s), name(s), or phrase(s) in our exclusive Mga Sulat ng Puso brand font on the blank side. The reverse is inscribed with ‘Aking Sinta Jewellery’.
• Each engraving is thoughtfully sized and placed to suit your medallion, making every piece uniquely yours.
• Wear your story in Baybayin script—let your jewellery carry a memory, a wish, or a word close to your heart.

How to Request Your Engraving

❀ Write your Baybayin text (or the word you wish to translate) in the Order Notes at checkout. Maximum of 12 Baybayin characters.

❀ Baybayin is phonetic—write your word as it sounds, breaking it down into syllables (e.g., BA-R-KA-DA for “barkada” [4 characters]). 

❀ For special requests or to send a reference image, email ukit@akingsinta.co.uk with your order number.

❀ If ordering more than one medallion/variation, please clarify which engraving goes with each piece.

Baybayin Writing Rules (Quick Guide)

❀ Baybayin does not use the letters “C,” “F,” “J,” “Q,” “V,” “X,” or “Z”—substitute with the closest Filipino sound.

❀ Each symbol represents a syllable (consonant + vowel: e.g., “ba,” “ka,” “da”). By default, each character ends with “a.” 

❀ Add a kudlit (dot/mark) above for “e/i” or below for “o/u.” 

❀ To cancel the vowel sound (write a final consonant), use a pamudpod or a krus.

Vowel remover marks (if any) will be chosen based on engraving space and design, but to specifically request either:

❀ For pamudpod, write a comma after the syllable (e.g., BA-R,-KA-DA).

❀ For krus, write a plus sign after the syllable (e.g., BA-R+-KA-DA).
